A cadmium-based red that must be worked cool, high in the flame, or encased to prevent boiling; currently out of production pending reformulation.

Outcomes

• saturated cadmium red, stable when worked cool or encased Red
  Work cool, in the upper part of the flame, or encase the color to prevent the boiling typical of cadmium glasses.
