Almond Nugget

Light almond-colored glass that reveals amber-to-wispy-blue veils when encased in an oxidizing flame; un-encased it shows lighter amber. Pulls thin, stays creamy, suitable for deep encasements.

Outcomes

• Veils of amber shifting to wispy blues visible inside the encasement; complex and translucent flame: OxidizingAmberBlue
  Encase the glass and work in an oxidizing flame to reveal internal veils ranging from amber to wispy blues.
• More opaque, muted almond/amber tones within encasement flame: ReducingAmberTan
  A reducing flame causes the encased glass to become more opaque, losing the blue veiling and settling into a heavier amber-almond tone.
• Light creamy amber, no veiling; stays creamy and pulls thin flame: AnyAmberTan
  When used un-encased, the color reads as a lighter amber with a creamy character. Pulls thin consistently.
