A stable, soft-melting dense amethyst opal that works to a milky purple; can also be kiln-struck at 1100°F for 1 hour to develop color.

Outcomes

  Very stable and soft-melting; reducing flame returns the color to a milky purple.
• Deeper amethyst/purple developed via kiln strike strike: KilnPurpleViolet
  Kiln-strike at 1100°F for approximately 1 hour to add and develop color.
